If you are just getting started and need some direction we can start with a few hours of consultation.
We begin with a visit to your home to assess your space and discuss your needs. We then create design sketches providing options for your renovation project. We also help you select the products that best suit the needs of your home & family.
With decades of experience, MAC Design embraces the guidelines and professional training of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. A series of hand-rendered and computer-assisted designs will bring your project to life. The experience of our team will ensure that your home looks great while providing maximum function. In keeping with MAC Design's signature versatility, the building and installation process is also based on your needs; we can provide guidance in choosing a contractor or work with one you've already selected. We also enjoy serving clients who are doing their own labor.
What Will It Cost?
Every project is different and design fees are based on the unique needs of each client and project. MAC Design offers packages that range from basic design services to comprehensive assistance.
Design packages range from $4,000 – $11,000 for a kitchen and $3,000 – $11,000 for a bath. Full house project design packages typically range from $10,000 – $20,000.
What will the city require for permits?
Permits are required by each city when you are changing mechanical. Plans for permits incorporate all city requirements including Title 24 calculations for the current lighting codes. The extent of the plans depends on the project. A simple kitchen or bath renovation is more simple that a full house renovation.
What will it cost to do the work?
Total remodel project costs vary according to product selections and the extent of the work. Our experience has shown that a kitchen or master bath remodel will typically start at around $40,000, and can cost as much as $200,000 or more. A simple bath replacement starts at about $20,000 and up.
If you are doing the labor yourself these figures will most likely be lower. If you plan to add on to your existing home you should add about $200 per square foot to these estimated figures.
