Farm House Twist
Collectables and family heirlooms were the priority for this design to satisfy clients with differing tastes. The solution combined '50s nostalgia with the traditional farm house. The kitchen was moved from the original location, an exterior wall was pushed out, and interior walls were removed to give them a great room conducive to family entertaining. Conversation areas were created with strategic furniture arrangement. The living space was transformed into an ideal showcase for displaying treasures from the past while encouraging a fun atmosphere for creating new memories. The clients invested about $220,000 in this portion of the project.
